These double dutch barn wood doors were commissioned by Stolpman Vineyards from a fellow furniture design firm.
I was asked to collaborate by designing and fabricating the bespoke latches. The latches enable the doors to be operated from either side and the minimalist design ensures no hardware components are proud of the door panels during operation; a critical design point as this is a high traffic pass through.
Materials used were sourced entirely from a driveway gate scrapped out of Woodland Hills, CA.
